The Onderdonk House has more than historic value. It has been a meeting place for numerous nonprofits and associations serving the Manhasset Community.
The Onderdonk Landmark Society has held numerous social and informational events at the House. Past activities have included seasonal and historic events. Other groups who have met include:
Girl Scouts / Boy Scouts Meetings
Moms, Couples and Children Manhasset is known as a family town and the Mothers Group of Manhasset provides a welcoming open door with social events for mothers, couples and children and support in times of need through its Sunshine Committee.
The Onderdonk House and grounds have been the site of the Mothers Group Fall Festival, with pony rides, face painting, and crafts, as well as its membership kickoffs and its Board meetings.
Civic Activities Every December the Greater Council of Manhasset Civic Associations holds its annual meeting at the House.
